Hello!!

Time sure goes by fast when you are having fun!! For us summer vacation/ school break is almost over. The kids and hubby go back to school next week. :( I haven't really been on any sort of schedule, although, I have tried really hard. But I gave myself a break, and to be more open when they are home. I'm such the scheduler, planner, organizer that sometimes I just have to let it go. {oh no the song let it go, frozen, just enterered by brain, shucks now it's gonna be playing in my head all night---let it go, let it gooooo, can't hold back anymorrreee!!} LOL..sorry bout that.

I've missed being on here, as much, but once they are back in school I will be back on my schedule, as the Lord sees fit of course. I kind of just taken a break from blogging. But I will back soon...so stay tuned! I will be sharing some of our summer fun, and some other stuff. So until then, see you soon!!

1. I've been married twice, to the same hunka hunka burning love for 10 years {this year}! 

2.  I'm a sweet food junkie! I'll eat sweets before any meal. 

3.  I'm obsessed with green tea and stevia

4.  Even though I look like I'm 16 I'm really 34 and have 2 daughters {ages 7 and 15}

5.  I do not like taking pictures {weird I know, I love to photoshop them though}

6.  I'm #3, in a family of 8 kids {I suffer from middle child syndrome..hehe!}

7.  This year marks 13 years being saved and accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior

8.  I dislike driving on the freeway...like dislike it! 

9.  I used be so afraid of the dark I would sleep in the fetal position afraid the boogie man would grab my toes and drag me under the bed to boogie-land. Praise God for Jesus, I can sleep straight now!!! 

10. I am obsessed with Pinterest, I seriously need to go to an AAA meeting for that.

11. I'm totally shy, but God has gotten me out of my comfort zone. So gradually I'm starting to not be.

1. What would be your dream vacation? Dream vacation, would be a bed in breakfast with a front porch sipping on some sweet tea or lemonade with no phones, or tv, or computer.  Just hangin out with the family.

Hello!

Hello there.....

I took a break from blogging for awhile, I'm back from my break.  I needed this time to step away from it all and focus only on the Lord and my family and the things He needed me to get through. God is definitly moving in my life {my heart, my home and everything else}.It has been trying, challenging, stretching, amazing and a very very big blessing! I do miss blogging, however, I am enjoying and loving my time with the Lord and my family very much!!!
Our time is so precious here on this earth, we need to make the most of it and make a difference to further His kingdom. We are the lights of the world,  that need to shine Jesus so bright!! Our walk with the Lord is soo important and needs to be priority #1, above all else. Every morning before I get out of bed I make it a point to spend that quality time with Him. He gets my first fruits of the day.  Now there are times, and I try my hardest to let them be few, where I am running late and don't get that quality time but I at least read and pray. It's better than not doing it all. But I do make every effort and scrafice to make Him #1 {even before hubby}. I'm not perfect, if fact very far from it. But I do try my hardest to make that priority #1!! I can not function without Him being my first priority.  With Him we are so much more, He wants to use you for His kingdom purposes.

I have been praying weither I should continue to blog or not. And.....the Lord and hubby have allowed for me to continue blogging. Yay!! I've been blogging since April of 2008, and I really enjoy blogging {and blog hopping}. It's a way to express my faith and encourage others in their walks with the Lord. It's not about me, but all for the Lord and for His glory.

I really want this blog to be a ministry to encourage, uplift, edify, glean, iron sharpening iron, assist you, and direct you to the Lord. Not to give my opinions, because those don't matter - God's opinion does!!  I can only share what He has done for me {my testimony}. In essence only God matters and nothing else.

I have a few posts set up to post soon. I'm really excited to be back. God bless you

It's been awhile!!!

Hi!!!

It sure has been awhile......I'm having quite a busy summer this year, totally not what I had anticipated. My visions of summer......are sitting on the front porch sipping on a cup of sweet charlie palmer tea and watching my kids swinging on the tree swing and my husband fish in the pond. Let me first wake up from my dream...LOL!! That's my dream summer vacation, I won't be able to get a house like that here. But I will settle for spending some quality time with my family, which is hard to come by these days. Alot has happened since I last posted: I started a couponing blog {hence is why I've neglected this one so sorry-have not been lead to post until now}, a friend of our family passed away, and my husband just had is 3rd surgery on his hip.

But with all the busyness and sometimes crazyness, I find peace. A peace that seems so impossible to have. But with God all, not some, but all things are possible, even that peace that I long for daily, with Him.  He sustains me, gives me rest, is there when I absolutely need Him the most, is a shoulder to cry on, is my best friend in the whole wide world. I'm blessed for the busyness it' keeping me close to Him, more dependant on Him for everything. I'm exactly where God wants me, busyness and all, and it's the best place to be. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. His Grace found me.............

SEA MONKEYS!!!!!!!!!!!

Victoria got Sea Monkeys for the Second time. She was soo excited and so was lil' sis, Veronica!!! Victoria has just put in the sea monkey eggs. So exciting to see all those little guys hatch from powder. Does anyone know what they really are? I've heard they are shrimp? Do you know, if you know leave me a comment.
Sister's hugging after all the hard work of stirring those eggs!!! LOL!!! Sea Monkey Mommies!!! :)
Veronica was really excited!!! And Victoria was amazed at how it all worked. Do you remember having sea monkeys when you were little? I do......it was so fun watching them swim and grow. Mine did not make it that far.
Time to put on the lid and watch them grow.

These are the new tanks they come in, this was the beach city scene. They also have a New York City scene with sky scrappers and other ones too. They are pretty cool!!!
