Fit Friday

Hi!! So I am going to start Fit Friday again. I used to do this on my CrafTEA Mom blog. I am doing a few challenges to get me motivated and accountable and wanted to share them with you.

Finding time to workout, let alone find time, is one of the main reasons why I love HIIT workouts.  You can do in less than 10 mins, 3-4 days a week. I have been doing HIIT workouts for the past couple of years and it worked for me....up until I got pregnant. HIIT workouts can last from 5 min - 45 mins. The best thing about the workouts is that you can do it all in the comfort of your own home and the best thing is they are free.

You can google it, youtube it, or go pinterest and just search HIIT workouts. I have found a few that I will be doing  this week and has worked for me. They are less than 10 minutes and man do you get a workout. HIIT workouts burn fat calories 9x more than regular cardio workouts and it's in more than half the time.

This is why I love HIIT workouts so much. Don't spend soo much money, as I did, or get bored, with those gimmicky workout videos that you spend $100's on. I bought it used the program and finished and now it just sits there. I love using different Hiit workouts, it changes up thing, you don't get bored with it. You just need a formula to go by. Like something like this. And I will be posting every Friday, they are already scheduled, different workout schedules and plans for it. Will you join me in this journey to get my body back into shape.

Here's what my week will look like next week, subject to change.

Mon - 10 min HIIT workout
Tues - Rest
Wed - 15 min HIIT workout
Thurs - Rest
Fri - 10 min HIIT workout
Sat Rest
Sun Rest

Here are some videos:

10 min HIIT workout

5-5-5 Challenge: Week 3

Ok, this new blog format is a bit new to me. I thought this posted yesterday, but somehow it didn't make it.

So it's week 3, and it's been going ok. There has been some hard weeks. I'm doing my juicing still and somewhat working out. Need work on that. With the juicing I've lost 2 inches around the waist, but maybe put them elsewhere. LOL. And Week 2 was a to-do list get on track, and I actually made a list for when I get home. Now that I am working it makes it a little bit difficult, but the lists have seem to be working. I don't cross everything off, but it's ok. I can only do what I can. http://womenlivingwell.org/has some really great resources such as cute printable to do list. Go check it out and the rest of her post, very encouraging. I love this weeks challenge, I have been doing this for a really long time, and when I don't my whole day is shot until I do it. But for the most part right when I wake up it is the first thing I do, even before freshing up. We have to crucify our flesh daily and I want to crucify it before anything else, before I talk to anyone. Giving God our first fruits {our time} is one of the best things you can do in the morning. Even just talking to him in the shower, whateve it is. Give him your time. I know sometimes its hard especially when your running late. But it is so important to make that time for him.

Week 3′s Challenge:

Purpose to not read ANYTHING else before you have read God’s word for at least 1 minute in the morning. Do not read the newspaper, facebook, a spiritual devotional or check your email. Go straight to God’s word first. And in case you think 1 minute seems a bit stingy with our time – I want to suggest – that once you get started most likely you will go for much longer than 1 minute. But I want this to be doable. After reading your Bible, I encourage you to leave your Bible in the kitchen open and everytime you walk past it, pause to read it for 15 seconds and then go on. Squeeze all the nourishment you can out of the scriptures you are reading.

In His Grace and Mercy,
Adrienne

5-5-5 challenge WLW

I made it through the first week Challenge, my goal is to lose 6 inches around the waist. And after two weeks of juicing and some exercise I've lost 2 inches already. YAY!! Praise the Lord! So this week Discipline is time management. I've made up a plan for this week, every week is different and changes so I have to be creative. If I don't do the exercise in the morning I make sure I do it in the evening. I make sure I also have a few rest days in between. Very important..But the most important for me is if I have not spent time with God I can not exercise. My time with God is the upmost important. I make sure that I have spent my time with Him. Sooo very, very important. Not only is taking care of our body is good, we also need to take care of our spiritual body, exercise it and nuture it. So make sure He is first above all else, above everything!

I am so thankful for Courtney @ Women Living Well who is doing this Challenge, stop by her blog and check out her full post. It is very encouraging!! Thank you for stopping by. Let me know if you are doing her challenge we can keep each other accountable. If you are struggling and need prayer leave me a comment and I will pray for You.

Below is her Challenges for this week:

Week 2 – Challenge:
1.  Sit down and look at your calendar.  Think about your priorities. {I love this one, I have behind and failing in this area big time}
2.  Pray and ask God to give you wisdom as to what you should be doing with your time. {Very, very important...seek first the kingdom of God and all His righteousness and He will supply all that you need}
3.  Write out a list of what you need to get done this week – don’t forget to write in time with God!  (you can use the free printable below as a guide {at her website go -here}  !)
4.  Every morning this week, look over your to-do list.  Pray and ask God for wisdom.  Add, take away or move things on your list accordingly. {Karen Ehman had a great solution to this check her blog out here}
5. Continue this discipline next week and the week after.  Soon you will find order and rhythm to your days and weeks. {God is a God of order}

What is the Truth?

What is the truth?
Truth is not a feeling. Truth is not an idea. The truth is found in the Bible.Sincerity and good works do not bridge the gap of sin between God and man. Only the blood of Jesus can cleanse a person (Heb. 9:22; John 14:6). Sincerity and good works are merely the reliance upon what is in the individual to merit favor with God. Sincerity is a form of pride when it is appealed to as a justification for being accepted by God: "But God, look at my heart. See how sincere I was? I deserve to be in heaven."No. If sincerity and good works were good enough to satisfy God, then He wouldn't have given us the Bible to correct our sincerely wrong ideas, and He wouldn't have sent His Son to do what our good works cannot.Truth is what God says is true.The truth is important not because it is simply true. It is important because truth is what defines who and what we believe in.Eternity is a long time to be wrong. Especially about Jesus.

What me and my Family Believe

What We Believe
WE BELIEVE the worship of God should be spiritual! Therefore we remain flexible so the Holy Spirit may direct our worship.
WE BELIEVE the worship of God should be inspirational! Therefore we give a great place to music in our worship.
WE BELIEVE the worship of God should be intelligent! Therefore, in our services, we emphasize Bible teaching so God may instruct us how He would be worshipped.
WE BELIEVE the worship of God should be fruitful! Therefore we look for His love in our lives as the greatest evidence that we are truly worshipping Him.

How To Know God

How to Know God

Realize that you are a sinner. No matter how good a life we try to live, we still fall miserably short of being a good person. That is because we are all sinners. We all fall short of God’s desire for us to be holy. The Bible says, “No one is good—not even one” (Romans 3:10 NLT). This is because we cannot become who we are supposed to be without Jesus Christ.Recognize that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you.The Bible tells us, “But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while were still sinners” (Romans 5:8 NLT). This is the Good News, that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die in our place when we least deserved it.Repent of your sin.The Bible tells us to “repent and be converted” (Acts 3:19 NKJV). The word repent means to change our direction in life. Instead of running from God, we can run toward Him.Receive Jesus Christ into your life.Becoming a Christian is not merely believing some creed or going to church on Sunday. It is having Christ Himself take residence in your life and heart. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door (of your life) and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in...” (Revelation 3:20 NKJV).

If you would like to have a relationship with Christ, simply pray this prayer and mean it in your heart.

Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe you died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I confess you as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me. Amen.If you just prayed that prayer and meant it, Jesus Christ has now taken residence in your heart! Your decision to follow Christ means God has forgiven you and that you will spend eternity in heaven.

The Bible tells us, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9 NKJV).

Praise the Lord, if you just asked Jesus in your heart I want you to know that the Angels in Heaven are rejoicing for you and so am I. Go to http://www.calvarychapel.com/?show=Churches and click on churches to find the closest church to you and go. Go and tell them that you've just accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart. They will be able to lead you to the next step.

God Bless you Brethren.
In the Mighty Name of Jesus!!! Amen!!!
Your sister in Christ Jesus!!!
