I love to share ways you can be frugal {save money}. I've had my Mama Shopping Wisely Blog where I usually share, but I have not been able to post anything there since I've started working. Now that I am working it's a little bit harder and overwhelming to post on there. It was a great when I was a SAHM {stay at home mom}. The Lord is leading me in a different direction with that blog for now.  Lord is leading me to share 'Frugal Living' posts {on this blog - so it's all in one place}, and share ways you can shop for less or almost free.

So with that, right now we are preparing for Easter. I usually make my girls Resurrection Easter baskets {faith-based theme},  I do them a little different. Everything in the basket has purpose and meaning behind it and directs all the focus back to Christ and why we celebrate it.

NTS {note to self}...make sure to scan your CVS card at the Kiosk they are printing out a $0.25off coupon for the Milky Way candies. If you don't have a card, sign up it's super easy and lots of perks. also sign up to Beauty Club too...lots of perks there too. It pays to shop...... literally! I did 2 transactions:

Trani #1
Buy 2 - Single Milky Way Candies $2/1 gb  $1 ECB = Free
* Use 1 - $1/2 Any Mars Candy Product RP 03/18/12
Or Use 1 - Extra Care Coupon $0.25/2 {retained at the kiosk}
Free + $1 ECB = FREE and made $1 MM {even better deal than what I had yesterday}

Trani #2
Buy 1 - Jelly Beans $0.99/1{they ran out and I asked what they substituted so I bought the same brand Malted Chocolate Eggs}
Used 1 - $1 ECB from Trani #1 pay $0.09 opp for tax and $0.91 MM

***Total OOP was $0.84 $0.09 left with $1 ECB so I made $0.91 in the end. So in essence CVS paid me to shop thoday. Woohoo...Praise the Lord.....and the best thing is I didn't plan on going this morning.

Pay ABSOLUTLY NOTHING = FREE!!

If you only have one coupon the best bet right now is to do it at Walgreens, I believe the other deal at CVS ended Yesterday. Sorry guys I just found that out. :( I'm bummed but it's ok you can still get it free at Wags

Couponing!!

 It's been along while since I really have searched for some great deals. I have only been couponing every 2 weeks and only seeking those deals when I am doing my grocery list. Tonight I went to a bible study and they shared on couponing. And it re-kindled a flame in me for couponing again, but this time I am going to be a lot more wiser on the things I buy. So with that tonight I was on my coupon list site at Grocery Smarts and I found a really awesome deal that I had to share with you that expires tomorrow, Tuesday, 03/22/11,for those of you in the Las Vegas/Southern Nevada Area. So here's the deal at Smiths click here and see below

Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Pasta  .99 but if you buy 10 you pay .49 cents each, which is not bad. You would pay $5 for 10. But why pay $5 when you can get them all for free. On the link above you can print at least 4 coupons for 8 boxs. The manufactures website has the coupons for $1 off of 2 boxes {link above}. Which will make them free, here's the catch though you need 1 more coupon to be able to get 10 for free or you pay about $0.90 for 10, which isn't bad either. So use another computer to print those off. Call your neighbor, mom, sister and maybe ask them to print the one for you.. Send them the link above, it takes you directly to the link for the coupons. Isn't that great!? Saving money is being wise with our money.

We are to be wise with our money and not all the time can we save. But we can try too. I just wanted to share that awesome deal with you. Don't forget it expires tomorrow.

Back to School Sales!

Well, summer break is soon coming to an end. And back to school shopping is at hand. I've found some great blogs, that some gals have put together, for some great deals. So far, the best one I've found is at Save at Home Mommy , she put all the sales on a spreadsheet for this week {8/01-08/07). This makes it soo much easier when shopping for those back to school supplies.
