A friend of mine text me this challenge yesterday and I wanted to share it with you for the Woman Living Well Wednesday Link up. I put that into action, and already failed a few times yesterday. But I was aware of when I did it. Today is a new day that the Lord has given us let us rejoice and be glad in it {Psalm 118:24} and lets just love on our honeys.
Here is the Challenge for January, for married woman and divorced or seperated:
Job 2:9-10 (Amplified Bible)9Then his wife said to him, Do you still hold fast your blameless uprightness? Renounce God and die!10But he said to her, You speak as one of the impious and foolish women would speak. What? Shall we accept [only] good at the hand of God and shall we not accept [also] misfortune and what is of a bad nature? In [spite of] all this, Job did not sin with his lips.
I have decided to be a Proverbs 31 woman. Keep me in prayer and I will be praying for you, I know this is a struggle {for me} and want to only uplift, encourage and pray for my husband. I love you babe and I'm trying, with God all things are possible {Mark 10:27.
God Bless you in this journey and let me know which one you decided to be. Leave me a comment, I love to read your nice comments.
IN His Love,
Adrienne

Isn't that an awesome challenge I started it yesterday on FaceBook gotten MANY responces! If we would just remember to make our homes a place of love and peace and may our words build them up and not tear down. Comfort them with our love and keep a quiet and meek spirit!! I also encouraged the gals to make sure to prepare their homes before there husbands return home our homes are our husbands castle's and they need to feel welcome, respected, and loved. Light some candles, place peaceful music such as classical or soft praise or scripture music, make it neat and picked up and last but not least please prepare yourselves both inner and outer appearances making sure our hearts are right before the Lord. Cant wait to begin to hear how God is moving in the marriages of His people!! God Bless sister!!
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome that its all over. a friend texted it to me yesterday and it's a challenge that keeps on surfacing and circulating. It's an awesome challenge and one that we need to reminded about constantly. I try to do that when Michael comes back from being out. Even though he's not gone for such a long time. They really do love to come home to a home a that's peaceful. It is their sanctuary. I can't wait either to hear all the blessings.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless you sis! And it was nice seeing you tonight at church. :)
