So you know how much I love Fall....{Squeal! Squeal!} if you couldnt tell already. This past weekend we put up our fall deco, I was blessed to have my mother-in-law help me. She is so creative when it comes to making something from nothing. I love buying the stuff and trying to put it together, but she just has this gift, and eye for making things work.
Here's what we did together, it was a fun great bonding moment. My little one also made all kinds of wall decorations, I'll post those soon. This is just a few of the pics to give you a glimpse of what we were able to do. It was such a blessing and it really sets the mood for making our home a haven. Really missing the 'Women Living Well' - Making Your Home a Haven series this year {hint, hint Courtney...LOL}.

Here are some of my favorite yummy recipes to serve during fall gatherings

{Totally Easy, why pay all that money when you can save a ton and make it for others and yourself for a fraction of the cost}
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons canned pumpkin
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/8 teaspoon ginger
• 1/8 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
• 1/16 teaspoon nutmeg
• Espresso or coffee
• Cream or milk
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil, reduce heat and add sugar. Stir until it is dissolved. Add in remaining ingredients and continue to heat the mixture for a few minutes until everything has had a chance to combine. Try not to let the mixture come to a boil.
2. Strain the mixture through a coffee filter.
3. To make a latte, add 3 tablespoons of the syrup to 2 shots of espresso and steamed milk. You can also add it to coffee

Pumpkin Crunch Cake
A friend blessed me with this receipe a couple years back and I've used it every year since then, during the fall season. It's great for fall gatherings, so excited for those. But, I can not find my recipe, thankfullly My Blessed Life has it so go here for the recipe. It is divine, I'm serious, better than pumpkin pie.
These two recipes compliment each other very well, great for gatherings/fellowships. I can't wait to break out the boots, sweaters, scarfs, and hot yummy coffee/tea drinks and this yummy dessert. We'll be celebrating this weekend, first day of Fall on the 22nd, this Saturday! What's your favorite recipe during the fall?
Fall Blessings,
Adrienne
