“She rises while it is yet night…” ~Proverbs 31:15
“In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait in expectation.”
~Psalm 5:3
It's Woman in the Word Wednesday......
I have to be honest..this weeks verses are a great reminder for me. I have been waking up late since Monday and going to bed late. Usually it's vice versa, so this was a great reminder for me to get back on track. My time in the mornings are rushed and I don't feel that I have spent quality time with the Lord in the mornings. And when I don't spend that quality time with Him my days don't turn out as they would have if I would have spent more time with Him. My life is a little different then some. I work and my husband stays home {for health reasons} and he homeschools our youngest. So things are just a little different, but not too much!
This for me means that I need to wake up a little bit earlier to get my day going. Instead of being rushed {this week}. If I can wake up at least an hour and 1/2 earlier, I can get so much more done in the mornings and spend that quality time and give Him my first fruits in the morning. And then be able to prepare things for my family for the day.
With that here is this weeks challenge for Good Morning Girls as well {sorry this is late too}, please also go check out their posts on this:

Our challenge this week:
Rise before your family!!! Come on girls I know YOU can do it!!! I know it’s hard! It’s hard for me too, but lets focus this week and RISE before our family does…..before our kids do! Let’s rise, have our quiet time and organize our day BEFORE it starts!!! Pray this week for strength and the discipline to rise early! Also pray about your finances and ask God for wisdom to help you make wise choices concerning how you spend the money He has given you.

What are some ways you can make your days easier by getting up before your family?
A: For me by going to bed a little earlier, and preparing the night before. Most importantly is putting Him first, giving Him my first fruits of the day. Also most importantly pray, pray, pray ask for God's help and to give you the strength to get up early. I am pryaing that these things will help me in preparing for what's ahead.
God Bless you!
