What Dissolves better in water? Salt or Baking Soda?
My Monkeys 4th grade science project was to see which of the two: salt or baking soda, dissolved better in water. Do you want to take a guess at it?
If you guessed baking soda then you were right!!!
We had fun doing the project, even little Veronica helped stir. She was so eager to help her big sister with the project. She is an awesome scientist and lil Punkin is an awesome little helper. I used my cricut to make the titles on the project board. I thought it came out cute for the first time.

ReplyDeleteI don't remember how ours turned out. But it sounds like the salt dissolved better in your project. Good job...it was a fun science project to do. Thanks for stopping by.

We're doing this right now, and for us the baking soda dissolves better in ice water, but they both dissolve well in hot (almost boiling) water. We have to do room temperature water yet. A lot of sources I'm reading say salt should dissolve better, so I'm a bit confused.
Deletewow im doing the samee project i just now came up with the idea with my science teacher. Then i saw your work. Im going to do good. but i dont know if it dissolves better in cold or hot water ill have to see i think its cold water
