Wow!! What a hot & blessed weekend we had. We brought the heat with us :( I forsure thought that it would be way cooler when we got home, wrong!!! :)
So we left early Sat morning to cute ol' Upland, Ca. This town is sooo unbelievbly cute. I used to live right next door, in Ontario. We went to California to Celebrate my sister-in-law Angelique's College graduation, she's been in college for 10 years, oh did I mention she has 3 beautiful kids and a husband. Wow!! Angel I really am proud of you. God has been so good to you.
Sat we drove down to Ptizer College, which is in Claremont, which was about a 10 min drive from her house and we drove around for about 20 mins looking for parking. So we finally get there and have to walk about 1/2 a mile to the out door ceremony, did I mention it was about 100 degrees. But it was well worth it!! After that we went back to Angels house for some of my mother-in-laws homemade cooking. For those of you that went to my wedding, you know what I'm talking about. And then we had raffles going on, I won a cute little plant. And the kids got soaking wet!! Whoo hoo!! And we had 2 rounds of Pinata's one for the kids and one for us. Now that was fun!! Good for getting all your frustrations out!! He!He! LOL!!!!
Then we checked into our room and went swimming!! Fun times!!! Then we woke up the next morning Sunday, oh I feel so guilty we did not even make it to church. And then we drove off to Knotts Berry Farm.
Where should I begin. The first ride I got on was the Ghost Rider. Anyone over the age of 29, do not recommend it. It is the most jerkiest ride ever. And it has lots of dips. After that ride I felt like I just got into a horrible accident. My brain turned to mush!!LOL!!! Then I went on the like Free Fall type of ride, don't remember what it was called. But that was a blast!!! Then we watched my neice, nephew and sis-in-law Valerie get on the Acclerator, I should have went on, chickend out. So after that we got on the Log ride, best ride for all ages up to 2yrs. Then we went and got some lunch, watched a really funny show, walked around at some shops got on the log ride again, so much fun. And then the last ride I went on with my neice Onyx was the silver bullet, where your feet are dangling. All I have to say is OMGosh!!! That was wicked, I could not even stand straight after that. I was so dizzy and out of mind. That ride put me out. So on our way home we went, I don't know how Michael did. By the grace of God, we made it home. Monday I couldn't move any part of my body. Tylenol and 7up where my best friends.
I have to say that I had alot of fun spending time with family and having fun!!! The pain was well worth the trip!! Thank you Lord for the awesome time we had. The trip itself was like a roller coaster. LOL!!! :)
Well I hope to post some more stuff soon. Thanks for stopping by. Be on the look out for some of my new heavenly diaper cakes.
